Kirrihill Clare Valley

Clare Valley, South Australia. Traditionally the idyllic valleys and rolling hills of Clare have been considered a single region, when in fact it consists of five distinct sub-regions. To create this wine we selected fruit from two vineyards situated in the north of the Clare Valley. A parcel was picked from the KS1 vineyard on the north east of the town of Clare itself and from the high altitude Stanway family Kalimpa vineyard in Armagh, north west of Clare.

To create a full bodied shiraz we selected grapes from three distinct sub-regions in Clare; the Edwards family's Ballingarry vineyard in Armagh to the north-west of the town of Clare, the Tullymore vineyard to the north-east of the town of Clare and the Schobers Road vineyard in Auburn at the southern end of the Clare Valley.
